OrderWise Warehouse Robotics Pulls In The Crowds At IntraLogisteX 2019!
On the 26th & 27th February, we kicked off our trade show season at IntralogisteX. Taking place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, the exhibition gave businesses from all over the UK the opportunity to see first-hand the latest cutting-edge innovations in the logistics management space.
The two day exhibition gave us the opportunity to meet with other exhibitors and visitors to discuss how our scalable business management software can massively streamline key business processes, as well as drive accuracy and efficiency into warehouse operations.
IntralogisteX also provided our first opportunity to showcase our Warehouse Robotics technology in action, with visitors to the OrderWise stand left fascinated by our shelf-moving demonstration. Alongside the moving robot, visitors learnt of the cost-saving and efficiency benefits that come from advanced warehouse automation, with the option for full integration to our award-winning ERP solution.
Elsewhere at the expo, there was a range of talks from expert speakers including our own Sales Manager, Jon Roberts, who held a discussion on the benefits and importance of using robotics within the warehouse.
Pulling in a full house with over 100 people in attendance, Jon’s talk addressed the current issues surrounding labour shortages and heightened consumer expectations brought on by “The Amazon Effect”. He then went on to analyse how the deployment of robotics into warehouse operations can combat these concerns, facilitating cost reductions and faster order fulfilment.
If you missed the OrderWise Team speaking or exhibiting at the IntraLogisteX, not to worry as you can find us on the road again next month where we will be exhibiting at the NEC in Birmingham at IRX 2019 (Internet Retailing Expo) on the 3rd-4th April.
If you are heading to the show and want to see our innovative Warehouse Robotics in action, come find us on Stand E37 where we can discuss how OrderWise can help your business to grow in 2019 and beyond.
