Since January, here at OrderWise we have been on a constant recruitment drive to help ensure we have the sound infrastructure in place to help effectively service our ever-growing user base over the next 12 months and beyond. This trend of new starters joining OrderWise has continued again this month with three more new members of staff arriving, one each into our Support, Development and Training departments.
As is always the case, these new employees spent the start of their employment undergoing extensive training on all the key areas of the OrderWise system, ensuring the real life application was fully understood and benchmarks were achieved. Having now completed this initial training, our three new starters have now begun settling into their job roles and started the second stage of training in their respective departments. These new OrderWise team members are:
Joseph Dale – Software Developer
The first new addition to the OrderWise Team is Joseph Dale, who joins our Development department as a Software Developer. Prior to OrderWise, Joseph has worked in a variety of programming roles working on developing different ERP and Payment Systems. With a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science also to his name, Joseph has the skill set and experience that can be easily transferred and applied to his new role here at OrderWise. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys spending time with his cat Maureen, playing a variety of stringed instruments and indulging in the works of renowned horror novelist, H.P. Lovecraft. I’ve not read any H.P. Lovecraft myself but I hear they’re FANGtastic!
Matthew Jones – Software Trainer
Also joining OrderWise this month is Matthew Jones, who joins the Projects Team as a Software Trainer. Matthew was originally born in Australia, however he moved to the UK in 2012 to live with his fiancé where he has since been teaching and doing supply work. Possessing an Education and Training award, Matthew has worked for a number of institutions including Lincoln College, Lincoln UTC, Peterborough College and IHS Global Alliance. This knowledge and vast training experience makes Matthew a welcome asset to the OrderWise Projects Team. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys story writing, playing with model trains and coin/note collecting, the latter of which is really ker-ching on here at OrderWise!
Richard Kendall – Technical Support Advisor
The final new member of the OrderWise Team is Richard Kendall, who enters our Support Team as a Technical Support Advisor. Richard graduated from the University of Lincoln with a degree in audio technology before working at Debenhams, where he assisted with the launch of their updated click and collect service. This technical understanding, experience with customer service and practice of stock management makes Richard perfectly suited to his new role here within the OrderWise Support Team. When he’s not at OrderWise, Richard enjoys playing guitar and following football as an enthusiastic Everton supporter. Sorry to tell you Richard, they’re not very Goodison!
I am sure you will join all of us here at OrderWise in welcoming our new starters to the OrderWise Family and wishing them all the best in their new roles.
