HMRC API Integration Comes To OrderWise Ready For Making Tax Digital 2019 –  With only six months left until the big switch over, businesses across the country are now preparing for the government’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) legislation going live in April 2019. As part of our own preparations here at OrderWise to aid businesses with their compliance, this month we have added integration to HMRC’s new API for facilitating the digital submission of VAT returns.

Keep Staff On Top Of Due & Overdue Tasks With New CRM & BI Alerts Feature – In busy sales environments, it is important for staff to ensure they stay on top of all their assigned tasks, proactively chasing up the right customers and completing their daily activities in a timely manner. To help them achieve this, OrderWise has welcomed a new feature which allows users to see the number of BI alerts and CRM activities they have due against the relevant modules.

Efficient Order Processing With New Product Search Features –  In busy trading environments, it’s important for staff to be able to quickly and accurately process orders so that satisfactory customer service can be delivered. Extending the capabilities of our Product Search, three brand new enhancements have been introduced this month to aid faster order processing.

Accurately Determine Purchasing Requirements With Yearly Sales Visibility – When it comes to effectively managing purchasing activities, it is essential to understand which items are selling and which items aren’t. To deliver visibility of sales activity to purchasing staff, this month we have introduced an extra column in the Purchase Report which shows the total number of sales an item has had over the last 12 months.

Effectively Balance Staff Workload With Total Lines Visibility –  In any busy warehouse environment, it is vitally important for warehouse supervisors and managers to ensure workloads between staff remain well-balanced so that high productivity and despatch efficiency is maintained. To aid this, in the latest release of OrderWise we have introduced the ability to view the total number of lines for a pick alongside total orders and total weight.

Never Miss A Sales Opportunity Again With New Mobile App Feature – With the OrderWise Mobile App, businesses are already given access to all their essential OrderWise data when working out of the office, including their CRM. Now following on from in-system functionality added last month, sales reps working on-the-go now have the ability to record the contents of customer discussions against marketing segments within CRM on their app.

Let Customers Store Products & Collect later With New Parked Orders –  In busy retail environments, especially during peak gifting periods such as Christmas where customers are likely to buy large quantities of items at once, it is not uncommon for businesses to receive requests to leave items behind the till while the customer continues to browse in-store. To manage these situations, OrderWise Store EPOS users can now allow customers to reserve their items to collect at the end of their shop.
