OrderWise Raises Fan-tache-tic Amount For Movember!

Mo Bros - CroppedLast month saw the staff at OrderWise organise a range of events in support of the ‘Movember’ charity, which addresses and helps to tackle men’s health issues.

With an initial fundraising target of £400 increased to £500 mid-way through the month, our team of ‘Mo Bros’ even surpassed the new target and eventually raised over £800! Here’s how we did it…

First up to support the Movember charity were our ‘Mo Bros’ themselves (pictured left to right: Dave Collins, Olie Hanson, Connor Barnard and Anthony Deacon) who all trimmed, shaped and groomed some very fine looking moustaches over the course of the month! Donations were made by friends and colleagues and the Mo Bros also sold chocolate moustaches to staff to raise even more funds.

Table Tennis - Jamil - CroppedWe also held a table tennis tournament, with 16 staff members paying an entry fee to take part. The competition was fierce throughout and the final took place between Jon Roberts and Jamil Karkach, with Jamil being crowned the OrderWise Table Tennis Champion after a thrilling final match!

Chess - Jason 2In addition, a chess tournament was held with 8 staff members taking part and also paying an entry fee. The games were a version of speed chess and the top spot was eventually taken by Jason Jordan who was unbeaten throughout the tournament!

Lastly, a final boost to the funds was gained by staff donating money for an extra dress down day. This helped the team to smash their fundraising target and raise such an impressive amount of money for an extremely worthy cause.

A huge thank you goes to all of the OrderWise staff who donated and participated, and thanks in particular go to Olie Hanson and Anthony Deacon for organising and running all of the events throughout Movember.
