OrderWise Goes Pink For Breast Cancer Care!

Breast-Cancer-Care-new-logoOn the 31st October the OrderWise team held its very own Pink Friday, a day of fundraising in aid of Breast Cancer Care. Staff members arrived into work in their choice of Pink Attire or Halloween Costume (or a bit of both!) with some staff members also bringing in cakes to be donated towards the big bake sale. As well the cake sale there were also lots of different activities going on throughout the day, with staff taking part in a Fancy Dress competition, Pink Bingo, Guess the number of Sweets in the Jar, The Tickled Pink Quiz and more. Prizes were awarded to the winners at the end of the day who were:

Fancy Dress – Wayne Cavanagh in Support for his very convincing Zombie Vampire costume!

Guess The Sweets In The Jar – Nobody got the exact answer which was 872 but Andrew Cheney in Sales took home the prize by being the closest with his guess of 877!

Bingo – Garden Gate, Number 8, Unlucky for some, Number 13! Not for Simon Mowlam in Testing however who won the Pink Bingo Prize!

Looking Good: Guess The Item of Clothing – Louise Bembridge in Support correctly selected the Bow Tie, winning her a tidy £14.25!

Think Pink HalloweenThe Tickled Pink Quiz – Mastermind Denise Ward in Projects outwitted the rest of the OrderWise team to win the quiz!

However the real winners of the day were Breast Cancer Care, with £114.20 being raised in total to help towards this charity’s worthwhile cause. On behalf of everyone, a big thank you to Debbie Stout in Support for successfully organising the day and everyone on the OrderWise team who donated to help us raise this fantastic total!
