As we reach the midway point in the year, it is incredible to think how far OrderWise has come in the space of just six months. Already this year, we as a company have moved into our £1.3 Million company expansion, attended numerous industry trade shows and won several prestigious awards. What’s more, our software has also had a very progressive first half of the year too with some headline new modules introduced. In fact since January, our developers have added well over 276 new modules, features, reports and general enhancements to our comprehensive all-in-one business management software, with this new functionality spread across all areas of our main system, OrderWise Commerce platform, Mobile Devices and App.
Some of these developments have been directly requested by our users whereas others have been strategic additions to our software that we have added to help improve the software offering and solution benefits available to our customer base. However regardless of whether the development has been requested by our customers or the OrderWise Development team, the end result is a commitment by us to keep our software moving forward by remaining cutting edge, keeping up with all the latest technological advances and industry innovations.
Most importantly, all these new features added into OrderWise in the first part of 2017 have been specifically designed to help our users increase the accuracy, efficiency and productivity of all their daily business processes and warehouse operations.
With over £1,000,000 put into the development of our software each year, we thought we’d take a look back at some of the big additions to OrderWise so far in 2017:
Possibly the biggest addition to OrderWise so far this year has been our Marketing module, designed to help users easily generate lists for use in their email marketing campaigns. With integration available to popular marketing platforms such as CommuniGator and MailChimp, businesses are able to segment their contact data using over 35 dynamic queries and sub queries to gather their ideal contact target lists. However the real power of this module can be seen when it is combined with OrderWise CRM, Business Intelligence and BI Alerts to create a full suite of functionality for managing enquiry generation through to successful close. OrderWise Store EPOS
One of the biggest additions has arrived just this month with the introduction of the brand new OrderWise Store EPOS system. With the ability to easily process returns/exchanges, manage Gift Card sales and payments, produce X and Z reads, view suggested items and much, much more, OrderWise Store EPOS delivers comprehensive sales functionality through a user-friendly interface. Allowing sales transactions to be quickly processed and the flexibility for prices/stock levels to be synchronised in real-time, OrderWise Store EPOS enables businesses to deliver the very best frontline service in all of their stores.
OrderWise App – Business Intelligence
The OrderWise App was one of the biggest additions to our software last year and we started 2017 by extending the functionality on our mobile offering with numerous enhancements. The most significant of these came in January, when the detailed insight of OrderWise Business Intelligence was introduced to allow users out-on-the-road access to key sales data. With the ability to digest this information from one-view grids and easy-to-analyse charts, OrderWise Business Intelligence and App users can benefit from the combined power of these two modules for on-the-go customer sales awareness. The Mobile Business Intelligence functionality was then further extended in March with the introduction of BI Snapshots, which enables users to maintain their sales data visibility when working in offline environments.
As well as Business Intelligence arriving to the OrderWise App, in February a brand new BI Alerts module was introduced to help Sales Reps and Account Managers stay on top of important client activity through personalised notifications. Through a scheduled task service, businesses can automatically schedule updates based around 16+ alert data queries, with the option to have these assigned to an individual user, group or team. With BI Alerts available both in-system and on the Mobile App, businesses using this advanced module can ensure staff always stay reactive to the potential sales available in their data.
Another highly useful addition to OrderWise this year was the introduction of Creditsafe integration. Businesses will often keep track of the financial stability of their customers in order to effectively manage credit terms and make timely sales calls to clients. OrderWise Creditsafe Integration makes this process faster and easier by delivering credit reports on an automated timed basis for users to access in-system. With the ability to view this key financial information in useful places all throughout OrderWise including customer records and Business Intelligence grids, Creditsafe Integration users can always be sure that they have the insight into each client’s financial position that they need.
Best of the Rest
Although this year has already seen some headline new additions to OrderWise in terms of new modules and services, our Development & Testing team have also worked hard to further enhance all existing areas of the OrderWise Business Management Software. This includes great new features and functionality added across all key areas including Stock Control, Sales, Despatch, Purchasing, CRM, Reporting, Business Intelligence and more. Here are some of the best additions to the main OrderWise system that have been added since January:
