In the October edition of the OrderWise newsletter, we focus on the invaluable OrderWise Trade Portal designed to help B2B businesses grow their online sales, as well as various new features and functionality introduced throughout the main OrderWise software. In version 12.10, we see beneficial additions to the new Transport & Routing Module as well as Click & Collect capabilities added to the Store EPOS module.
As well as new software developments, we celebrate more awards success with OrderWise Managing Director being named ‘Business Person Of The Year’ and also share news of our staff’s recent charity fundraising efforts. Introducing Fast, Easy Online Business Trading With The New OrderWise Trade Portal – This month sees the exciting launch of the brand new OrderWise Trade Portal which provides an effective, stress-free solution for taking B2B sales online. This new solution is packed with a range of dynamic features, can be set up to take orders within a matter of weeks and, most importantly, integrates seamlessly with the main OrderWise system.
New Courier Integrations With Low Cost Parcels And Mail Americas – OrderWise Courier Integration already provides time-saving functionality to streamline despatch processes and stimulate faster order fulfilment. Adding to an already extensive list of courier integrations available, this month sees OrderWise integrate with two more service providers – Low Cost Parcels and Mail Americas.
Handle Click & Collect Orders & Add Your Branding To OrderWise Store EPOS – An exciting new enhancement to OrderWise Store EPOS this month, users now have the ability to easily process click and collect orders, helping them to meet the demands of modern consumers. Additionally, this month sees another new feature which allows the Store EPOS interface to be customised to an individual company’s branding.
Ensure Swift Order Turnaround When Splitting Orders Across Multiple Parcels & Pallets – When handling large quantity orders, it is often a necessity to split these between multiple parcels and pallets when shipping. Now making this easy and streamlined, new functionality added this month allows companies to completely automate this process.
Gain Better Control Over Vehicle Usage With OrderWise Transport Management – The latest release of OrderWise sees two fantastic new enhancements added to the recently launched Transport Management & Routing module. These additions offer users greater structure and more control over van delivery schedules and the various routes taken by drivers to reach their destination.
Improve Speed & Accuracy With Extra Goods In Functionality – Enhancing the OrderWise Goods In module, new settings when enabled allow warehouse staff to update an item’s weight and/or the item’s default bin number from directly within the ‘stock in’ form, offering even greater flexibility, accuracy and control.

OrderWise Managing Director Named Business Person of the Year! – This month saw the winners of the 2017 Lincolnshire Media Business Awards announced and we are super proud to say that OrderWise Managing Director, David Hallam, was named as the Business Person of the Year. Also on the night, OrderWise were named as runners-up in the Education, Training & Skills category, marking an all-round successful evening for the company.
Last Chance To Vote For OrderWise In The People’s Choice Award! – With the 31st October deadline just one week away, now is your last chance to vote for OrderWise in the People’s Choice category at this year’s Midlands Family Business Awards. The winners and highly commended in all categories will be announced at the ceremony dinner at the Derby Velodrome in November. Fingers crossed!
READY, SET, BAKE: OrderWise Staff Rise To The Occasion In Aid Of Macmillan – The OrderWise team recently donned their aprons and set about baking some fantastic treats as part of the Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning. There were some great entries in the bake off and funds were raised for a very worthy cause. Well done team!
And The October 2017 Employee Of The Month Is… – For his hard work in September, this month’s Employee of the Month Award goes to Dan Mayfield from our Technical Support Department. Having shown real professionalism and commitment during his first onsite visit, Dan has proved himself to be an invaluable member of the team. Congratulations Dan!
