To help maintain high product and service standards at all times, many companies will seek to implement quality management systems and gain ISO 9001 accreditation. Effective quality management systems can enhance working practices, improve efficiency and reduce costs, whilst ISO 9001 accreditation can be used by organisations to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
However, ISO 9001 accreditation is subject to an audit process and continual assessment and as such, without robust stock, data and information systems in place it can be difficult to have easy access to the information required for audit and assessment purposes. Failure to satisfy these ongoing ISO requirements could result in a failure to gain reaccreditation and this could have a damaging effect on your business, with reputation and customer confidence being negatively affected. With quality management being so crucial to businesses, processes and systems that can facilitate, maintain and develop quality are valuable assets.
OrderWise already provides businesses with a central hub for key data and information with a wealth of features to provide clear visibility of audit trails across a business, and this month sees further valuable functionality added.
Easily Record, Review & Export Stock Take Notes And Investigation Steps
In the latest release of OrderWise, functionality has been added to easily and clearly record comments and investigation steps alongside each line of the stock take form. When inputting discrepancies found during a stock take, OrderWise users can now input/record the investigation steps taken or further detailed reasons for any discrepancies found during the stock take. This additional information will then be pulled through to the stock take main screen as an additional column, allowing easy review and export to Excel in case of an IS0 9001 inspection.
Thanks to this simple but useful new feature, businesses using OrderWise can successfully maintain their ISO accreditation and, together with the extensive range of existing OrderWise functionality, help drive quality across their operations that delivers customer confidence.
