Job Description

OrderWise are seeking a Junior Electronics Engineer who has a strong passion for everything electronic to assist our Head of Electronic Engineering working on our Robotics Programme. Working with the Team this person will link together electronic sub systems to develop a complete solution and then refine that solution into production ready units. Additionally there will be a need to fault find on production units as required and program micro controllers in C. This person will be able to turn their hand to whatever task is the main priority and want a varied role every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To help test and approve prototype solutions into working production units
  • To assemble production ready units
  • To fault find and rectify issues
  • To program micro controllers

Key Skills:

  • Educated to relevant electronic degree level.
  • A passion to learn new skills
  • Some experience in programming
  • Ability to fault find and rectify faulty components
  • A passion for all things tech

Personal Skills:

  • Well organised with good prioritisation skills
  • Be motivated and delivery focused
  • A team player with ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Approachable with a willingness to help others
  • Excellent literacy skills both written and verbal

Salary: £18,000 To £22,500 Depending On Experience

Hours: 40hrs p/wk (8:45am – 5:15pm, Mon. to Fri.)
