We understand that when it comes to getting a fast return on your software investment, knowledge is absolutely key. That’s why regardless of whether it is a new customer implementing OrderWise for the first time or an existing user looking to expand their solution with an additional module, we ensure that they receive the expert training they need to get the most out of their new software. With the flexibility to receive training on-site, remotely or from our purpose-built training facility in Saxilby, businesses are able to reap the benefits of tailored training sessions at a time and in an environment that suits them.
Additionally we know that to ensure the service we provide all our customers is first class, we must employee only the highest calibre of staff in order to deliver our promises. That’s why we don’t have dealers selling our software, instead we ensure that every OrderWise employee is given four weeks intensive training on our software and pass two OrderWise exams before they can even begin their role. Moving forward, we then ensure staff are kept up to date with all the new key features added to OrderWise in our software releases. This way we can offer an expert and knowledgeable service at less cost to our business partners.
This manner of staff and customer training has been developed using our extensive experience of training people on the use of OrderWise over the last 25 years and has even received recognition for its effectiveness. In 2015, OrderWise was presented with the award for Training Excellence, with the judges commending OrderWise on all aspects of our training, being particularly impressed with the mock warehouse training facility available at our premises that enables both staff and customers to experience and learn about OrderWise in a real-world warehouse environment.
Our near 10,000 users and over 100 employees will testify that these training methods work, however this recognition means that businesses know that when implementing their new OrderWise software, they have the full support of an award-winning training experience to get them off the ground.
2016 People’s Choice Award
Here at OrderWise, we know having family values at the centre of what we do is a source of our success, commitment and longevity. OrderWise began with family at the heart in 1991 when David Hallam started his vision and over the last 25 years, with family by his side, OrderWise has continually grown to become a national leader in business management software. Today, we impressively have over 140 members of staff but still manage to retain the tight-knit family beliefs David instilled all those years ago.
With this ongoing community strength, OrderWise continues to deservedly stand out from the crowd as a persistently successful family business. For this reason, OrderWise was voted as the ‘People’s Choice’ at the Midlands Family Business Awards in 2016. The Midlands Family Business Awards are an independent and not-for-profit initiative in the region that recognise and celebrate the achievements of family owned businesses. The aim of their People’s Choice Award is to identify the business that engages and promotes the values of family businesses within the wider community.
Different from other awards, the People’s Choice was entirely voted for by the public with 51 finalists in contention for the prize. Meaning it is with thanks to our valued clients, family, friends and staff and their belief in OrderWise that we were able to achieve this great accolade in its inaugural year. Along with the ‘People’s Choice’ award, OrderWise was also Highly Commended in the ‘Fastest Growing Family Business’ category and was named as a Finalist in the ‘Employer of the Year’ category in 2016; making the region’s top six.

Microsoft Partner – Gold Application Development
Wise Software are certified Microsoft Gold Application Development Partners. This means we are far more than just a software dealer who has paid a premium to sell branded software. It means we have over 25 years’ actual experience designing and developing OrderWise on fast, reliable and scalable Microsoft Technology. We only use the latest Microsoft .NET programming tools and Microsoft SQL Server Technologies to make OrderWise an advanced, powerful and scalable business software solution. This is a fact that has been independently verified by Microsoft, validating both OrderWise and the satisfaction of OrderWise customers.
Fully accredited by The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), OrderWise Accounts has been carefully developed to provide the depth of functionality to meet the financial management requirements of organisations yet offer businesses a straight forward solution to their accounts software needs.
OrderWise is a fully HMRC Approved product, listed in the government’s guide for commercial software suppliers. To achieve this status, OrderWise Accounts had to display the ability to allow users to submit their main VAT tax return using the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) free online product: Online Tax Return for Value Added Tax. HMRC successfully tested OrderWise with the features of this service finding that our software indeed does allows businesses to submit their VAT returns online.
Additionally, OrderWise also qualifies for the government’s HMRC Development Tax Status. This means that a substantial amount of the development work we undertake in a year is so ground-breaking that it qualifies OrderWise for this position, allowing us to invest into further research and development projects that directly benefit UK businesses.
Registered Sage Developer
Should you choose to link with your existing accounts software, you’re in safe hands. Wise Software have been approved Sage Developers since Sage produced their very first software developer tools over 15 years ago. In addition to this OrderWise also boasts integration with other accounts software including QuickBooks.
As a GS1 UK Partner with a Barcode Accreditation, OrderWise Mobile Warehouse Management Devices have been developed to utilise GS1 Barcodes in both 1D & 2D formats in order to improve efficiency, increase accuracy, adhere to industry standards and meet supply chain requirements.
NetDespatch Pro Partner
Alongside working directly with couriers themselves, OrderWise Courier Integration also offers links to courier consolidation service providers such as MetaPack, Parcelhub and more, who themselves provide integration with all the major couriers.
One of these service providers that we have worked with for some time now is NetDespatch, with OrderWise able to offer integration to popular couriers such as APC, Asendia, Royal Mail and Yodel through their platform. Having worked closely with them for a number of years and developing six courier definitions in total for their system, OrderWise have been able to achieve Pro Partnership status through the NetDespatch partner programme. To achieve Pro Partnership status, OrderWise was able to demonstrate advanced NetDespatch integration to our customers and offer solutions for some of their supported carriers. The next milestone is Premium Partnership status, which we hope to achieve through our continued work with NetDespatch.
By having OrderWise seamlessly integrated to a system like NetDespatch, businesses using our software can ensure that all key delivery details are seamlessly transferred over to the necessary couriers for safe delivery, allowing their time and money to be saved.
