EPOS
If your company has a trade counter or cash and carry facility, OrderWise EPOS can make serving those clients an efficient and streamlined process – helping you to provide a highly professional service to your valued clients.
There are certain times of the day or week when your trade counter may be far busier than usual. It’s these moments when you’ll need a system that is not only easy to use, but also seamlessly integrates into the other aspects of your business system.
OrderWise EPOS is the solution – a robust and dependable customer service tool which gives you the power to provide your clients with first-rate service, from the very front-line.
Imagine this situation:
Several customers are waiting to be served at your trade counter.
The first client places several goods on the counter and asks for them to be charged to his company account. The operator quickly locates the client’s record, including details of current available credit, and proceeds to swiftly scan the items placed on the counter with a bar-code reader.
The client then asks for the availability and price of another product that is held in the warehouse rather than the display area. The operator is able to swiftly locate the product record and then inform the client of the price and stock levels. On confirmation from the client, the operator simply walks to the exact area where the product is stored and pick the required amount. Throughout this process, OrderWise EPOS has automatically applied various discounts that have already been set up for the client - ensuring that the correct price is always given.
Once the transaction is complete, the on account value is recorded and a proof of collection document printed for the client to sign. The client leaves with his goods, more than happy with the level of service he has received.
The next client does not have any goods to place on the counter; instead, they simply state their company name and the fact that they came in last week and purchased three units of a certain product. However, the client cannot remember the part number or exact description. The operator simply recalls the client’s account and looks under the Products Previously Purchased tab, which shows details of previous product purchases, including date and quantity purchased.
Using this simple but efficient tool, the operator can quickly see which product the client is referring to. They then simply double-click the product to add it into a new transaction, then walk to the location where the product is stored and pick it up for the customer.
This time, the client wishes to pay by credit card and the operator enters the information accordingly. This client is provided with a receipt and leaves with his goods.
OrderWise EPOS can also accept other payment methods such as cash, cheque, payment on account and credit/debit cards; the system can also link to both standard printers and specialised receipt printers. For the duration of each transaction, OrderWise EPOS is continuously reducing the stock levels of the products provided to clients - ready for OrderWise Purchasing to replenish as and when required.
