OrderWise offers enhanced support for products which are sold, purchased, costed or priced by area, volume or weight.
Thanks to OrderWise automatically converting the base unit of measurement at the point of order, selling to clients in units that they understand is made simple. OrderWise will happily convert 6 feet into 1.8288 metres and provide this information to the user at the point of order.
Where products have been configured to be costed using dimensions, OrderWise will automatically calculate the amount you need to order according to the specific sales order. If your customer requires 6.75 square metres of granite, and you purchase in units of 1 square metre, then OrderWise will perform the appropriate calculations and order 7 square metres.
Let’s say a customer provides you with the size of an area they wish to cover in tiles; the Dimensions feature within OrderWise will automatically calculate the amount of tiles necessary to fill the specified area.
Receiving products which have been configured to utilise dimensions is also supported, including full traceability.
