Credit Card Processing

Most companies use a PDQ machine to validate and process credit cards. This is generally acceptable for low transaction volumes; however those companies who process a large amount of credit cards may well need a reliable alternative.

OrderWise CCP is designed to work with OrderWise Sales and OrderWise EPOS* to make the credit card payment process fast, secure and dependable. Let’s take a look at some typical business scenarios:

Scenario 1

A large number of sales orders have been taken using OrderWise Sales, and the customers’ credit card details have been entered into the system. OrderWise credit card processing will authorise each payment in turn as part of one batch. All orders that are authorised will have their payment recorded and be moved to the despatch stage. Any order with invalid details or insufficient funds will be placed on hold and reported to an OrderWise user.

Scenario 2*

An operator is using OrderWise EPOS to serve a client at your trade counter; rather than using the PDQ machine, the credit card details are entered. OrderWise CCP will automatically try to debit the credit card with the total amount of the EPOS Transaction.

'This makes Credit Card Processing simple, reliable and fast! Fighting over the PDQ machine is a thing of the past!'

In both cases, OrderWise CCP needs to link to our credit card processing partners (ServeBase or Protx), either directly or via the internet. This will also require a service contract with them (at additional cost).

Depending on the type of link used and the computer specification, a typical turnaround time for a transaction should be between 2 and 5 seconds.

'Quick and simple integration with Protx online and Credit Card Transaction Processing.'
