Take this scenario:

The telephone rings in the back office and a sales person answers it. The sales person quickly locates the client record and begins a quotation. Whilst entering the quotation the sales person is immediately able to tell whether the product is in stock and, if not, whether there are any on order and when they are due in, along with being able to look at other stock locations to see if another branch has any in stock. Thanks to the intuitive design of the system, any discounts set up for the client are instantly applied.

The client asks for a product he had ordered about three weeks prior to his call, however he cannot remember the code or exact description for it. In this case, the sales person clicks on the OrderWise Sales Product Previously Purchased tab and is able to instantly identify the product to which the client is referring, and then double click it in order to add it to the current quote.

The client asks whether or not a further discount would be applied if he was to increase the quantity of his order. The sales person quickly and securely checks the product's profitability and agrees to provide a further two percent discount if he orders a box of twenty of the product. The client agrees and the profit on the overall order doubles.

The quote is saved and emailed directly to the client using Adobe PDF technology. The sales person enters an OrderWise Contact Manager record to remind him to call the client back later today to progress the quote. After many other sales calls OrderWise Contact Manager reminds the sales person to call his client and chase the quote.

The client decides to order two boxes of the product, thanks to the extra discount. The quote is altered by the sales person and converted to an order at the touch of a button. A successful, secure and efficient transaction, all thanks to OrderWise Sales.
