Stock Valuation Season

It must be that time of year again when everyone seems to be doing their stock valuations  as we have had loads of calls about this over the last week or so. 

One thing that often catches people out is that when they run the stock valuation report in either;
data input > period end procedures > stock valuation
or stock locations > Stock valuation
is that the system will automatically run the valuation for  today’s date (which  is often the date that you want) but that it wont show any of the transactions for that date. The reason for this is that the report only shows transactions  up to midnight on that date shown  and the for transactions to be included from that date that the valuation was run  they will need to advance it by a day.

If  only I had a  penny for every time this had come up I would be a rich lady (well rich enough to buy a tub of toffee ice-cream)!
