Training

Upon investing in the OrderWise system, customers are offered a 3-day training course as part of the package. The varying methods of training available are as follows:

On-Site or Off-Site Training

Training is available either at your premises, or at either of our locations in the UK or Ireland. We recommend that new users are trained on our premises for a variety of reasons – most importantly the fact that it can be easy to become distracted by 'office matters' if trainees are located in their own premises – which may hamper the training process. OrderWise is an investment for any new customer, and we want to make sure that trainees know the system well enough to really harness its full potential.

Training off-site is available in either Lincoln or Ardee, and takes place in comfortable surroundings under the guidance of a qualified product trainer. There are some cases where UK users may benefit from travelling to Ireland rather than Lincoln for their training; for example, driving from Southampton to Lincoln would most likely cost more than the price of a plane ticket to Dublin and a 45 minute drive to Ardee – although obviously this is entirely discretionary.

Refresher Training

We also offer 'refresher' training for existing customers, which will take place with just your company and a Trainer. This method gives users the opportunity to tailor the training to suit their requirements and discuss with the Trainer such things as changing procedures to fit in with OrderWise, or adapting OrderWise to fit in with their needs. This type of training is charged on a per-day basis, either £750/day for training at our premises, or £1000/day for training at your own premises. Please note that if training takes place at our premises we can accommodate a maximum of 5 people for training. If you would prefer training at your own premises we ask that you have certain training facilities set up.

Remote Training

What is it?

Remote Training allows for users to receive comprehensive training via the phone, or the web using the GoTo Assist service.

How does it work?

By using GoTo Assist, a Trainer can log on to your system remotely and guide you through the use of the OrderWise modules at your own pace.

The Trainer is able to both observe and demonstrate, as both parties will have access to the system at the same time.

Your Trainer will talk you through the necessary procedures in order to ensure your understanding of whichever aspect of OrderWise you require assistance with.
