OrderWise Continues Growth With 7 More New Faces

New starters at OrderWise 3This month we welcome seven new employees as the company continues to increase in numbers. The latest recruits are now settling into their various roles, helping to strengthen OrderWise resources across the business.

As ever, the first three weeks of their employment was spent learning how to use OrderWise and taking part in activities in our warehouse training facility to provide experience of the software in a practical environment. The intensive training also involved assessments of knowledge and progress to ensure that benchmark understanding was being achieved.

Even with the initial training out of the way, our newest employees can expect continued training alongside the rest of the 170 staff on various developments within OrderWise, ensuring that they are always up to speed with our continuously developed software.

Take a look at who has joined us this month:

Staff 7Ashley Marchant – Technical Support Advisor

Joining the ever-growing Support department this month is Ashley Marchant. Ashley embarks on his new venture with OrderWise having gained valuable experience as a Software Support Engineer and prior to that worked in 1st Line Support, meaning Ashley has hit the ground running in his new role. In his spare time, Ashley likes to try his hand at programming when he finds the time and also cites playing video games and the guitar as his hobbies – we wonder if his guitar skills are what make him great at handling a DATABASS.

Staff 4Simon Clappison – Technical Support Advisor

Also joining our Support department as a Technical Support Advisor is Simon Clappison, who has built up excellent customer service skills through his previous years working within the retail and catering industries. Also holding a diploma in construction, Simon has key industry understanding to thrive in his new position here at OrderWise. Regarding his hobbies, Simon is a big fan of miniature wargaming, airsofting and also cycling. Don’t worry though, Simon promises his weekend cycling doesn’t leave him TWO-TYRED for long.

Roxanne Bailey 120pxRoxanne Bailey – Technical Support Advisor

The third of our new employees to be joining Technical Support this month is Roxanne, who has developed a career in the IT industry over several years. Roxanne first developed her love for IT in 2013 and has progressed through roles in software and technical support ever since. We are thrilled to see Roxanne join the team and believe she’ll be a great asset to the company with all this passion for technology. At home, Roxanne likes to watch various TV series which include Wentworth Prison, Orange is The New Black, Game of Thrones and many more. Roxanne also has two dogs, Bambi and Marley, who she loves to take on the wettest and muddiest adventures possible. She is also a DIY fanatic and recently built a dog bed out of pallets for her pooches. We are sure it looks very FETCHing!

Natasha Mitchell 120pxNatasha Mitchell – Project Assistant

Natasha will be settling into our Project Team as a Project Assistant having completed the three weeks intensive training with OrderWise. She has plenty of experience in using ERP systems having studied Computer Information Systems at Lincoln University before moving on to become a Support Analyst in another business management software company. Natasha’s great knowledge will help her progress quickly within the new and exciting role she has here at OrderWise. In her free time, Natasha lists her hobbies as watching films, reading and crafting. She also enjoys listening to music and watching live bands, meaning whether inside or outside of work she’s always around GIGS.

Staff 1Charlotte Lupton – Moodle Content Creator

Charlotte is the newest member of the Internal Improvement team here at OrderWise where she will be researching and creating valuable internal training courses for our staff. Having moved to Lincoln 10 years ago in order to study Media Production at University, Charlotte has developed skills that can now be transferred into her new creative role. Outside of work, Charlotte can be found relaxing with friends, doing a spot of retail therapy or taking pictures of Monty the cat. She also loves Thai food so much that Charlotte and her husband even honeymooned in Thailand just so they could enjoy all the delicious food! The honeymoon sounded wonderful, however I wonder where they THAI’d the knot?

Peter Phillips 120pxPeter Phillips – Client Account Management

Continuing the growth of our Client Account Management team is Peter, our newest Client Account Manager. His history in customer facing roles, including head of sales at a bespoke medal business, will give Peter excellent stead for managing and looking after our clients in his new role. Having also worked in promotions and marketing management which required him to build relationships with his clients, Peter will be able to easily settle into his new and exciting role with confidence. He has two main hobbies outside of work – keeping fit and eating food – which seem to slightly contradict each other. He must always be deciding between EXERCISE and EXTRA-FRIES.

Staff 2Gareth Ingamells – Reports Writer

And finally, Gareth is the newest addition to our Reports and Layouts Team, responsible for providing our diverse customer base with custom reports that meet their specific requirements. Gareth has a degree in Information Management which he studied for in Sheffield before becoming a DNA Integration Consultant at Danwood in Lincoln. This has left Gareth with the technical knowledge and understanding needed to prosper in the Reports department here at OrderWise. Outside of work, Gareth enjoys reading, watching films and video gaming. He is also a self-proclaimed board game fanatic with Monopoly being his firm favourite, which makes us confident that Gareth MAYFAIR well in his new role.

A big welcome to the latest additions to the OrderWise family, we wish them the best of luck in their new roles!
