class="alignleft wp-image-22054" title="Business Growth" src="http://www.pictures.orderwise.co.uk/uploads//2013/05/growth-chart-5-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="277" height="174" />OrderWise provides businesses with 80 standard reports, an in-built reports wizard for users to alter or create their own custom reports and our in house report writing team are always on hand to assist where required. For a more visual representation of critical business information, the KPI Dashboard module contains over 230 charts covering sales, purchasing, despatch and variants with more charts being added soon.

With reports and Dashboards covering a full range of departmental requirements companies have the ability to analyse data and drill down on all key performance indicators.

Staff focused analysis

However, some companies have a requirement to analyse data and report on information from a more finite perspective. Take the example of a Sales Department; businesses will want to view the overall sales, customer margin, sales person performance, top sellers, worst sellers and more to see where improvements can be made with a view to increase margins, identify trends and deliver excellent customer service.

But Sales Departments can often be split into multiple teams such as a telesales team and a field sales team. Although the requirement to report on the whole will never be removed, businesses will also want to analyse information and report on the separate teams individually as they will no doubt have different targets to achieve and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to uphold. Taking this a step further, the telesales team may be structured to include several teams within it and the field sales team the same, each again with sub-team targets and SLAs which the business would want to report on separately.

Create team structures to replicate staff set up

The latest release of OrderWise 2013 (V8.6) now includes a new User Team Management structure to provide an easier and highly flexible method of managing more complex internal staff arrangements. Although User Groups will still be used to manage access and security permission throughout OrderWise whilst enabling valuable statistics via reports and Dashboards, companies will now be able to create multiple team and sub team structures, allocating staff accordingly to reflect their existing company structure.

This new feature represents the first step in on going development to OrderWise throughout the Reports, KPI Dashboards, Contact Manager and forthcoming CRM modules. The current functionality allows users to create their desired team structures and allocate users to them. Over future releases, we will be creating new standard reports, Dashboard charts and enhancements throughout OrderWise, providing easy, accurate and flexible reporting on a range of key information. As with the current standard reports, users will be able to amend or create their own reports, utilising the new User Team Management functionality to drill down the information as required.

Get a head start

Although future development and enhancements to support this feature will be released over the coming months, that does not mean that companies cannot implement it straight away by creating their team and sub-team structures and allocating users to them. OrderWise will then collate and build a history of information ready to use as soon as the additional reports and features are available.

Existing customers with specific reports requirements for the new User Team structure are welcome to speak with our Reports & Layouts Department to discuss their bespoke report needs further.

For more information on OrderWise download our brochure and watch the videos .

To discuss your requirements in more detail contact us today on 01522 704083

Many companies will want to wait for full receipt before beginning the next stage of manufacture to maximise efficiency, but on occasion there can be a requirement to continue a works order using the components currently available while awaiting the balance from the sub contractor.

New sub contract enhancement

In the June release there has been new development within the Manufacturing module that allows additional control of sub contract goods for more flexible workflow. Users will now be able to continue a works order using the available components booked back in from sub contractors while still waiting for the balance to arrive. Users can complete the works order once the balance has arrived and the remaining products built.

For more information on OrderWise Manufacturing download our brochure or watch our videos. Existing OrderWise users can head over to the New location control now added

In the July release an enhancement to the Auto Book In feature within Goods In has provided additional flexibility and control. Those companies wishing to utilise Auto Book In now have the option to override the stock location and bin number for the purchase order lines.

This ‘Allow override of stock location when auto booking in’ setting is available as an option within User Groups to ensure use by authorised users only. Once enabled, users can select their desired Purchase Orders to auto book in and they will be prompted with a new form where they can confirm if the stock location or bin number should be overridden.

This added flexibility will provide simpler stock management and ensure an accurate stock location record can be maintained at all times when using the Auto Book In feature.

Combine with OrderWise HHT devices for maximum efficiency

Companies managing the booking in of goods in this manner will find the OrderWise HHT Mobile devices of benefit. The wireless stock movement capabilities of these devices offer the perfect solution for efficiently and accurately managing the distribution of stock throughout the warehouse from holding areas. Existing users can head over to the <a
