VB.NET Developer

We are always keen to hear from talented VB.NET Developers, with strong skills and enthusiasm, to join our talented development team.

Any successful candidate will have solid knowledge and experience in the following:-

  • SQL Server2005/2008/2008 R2
  • Windows Forms using VB.NET 4
  • Visual Studio 2010
  • Basic knowledge of Web Services using VB.NET

In addition to solid technology experience, you will also need to be a good team player with excellent written and communication skills, and have the confidence to take responsibility for your own development projects from an early stage.

You will be responsible for working on all aspects of our latest software, including design, development, implementation and maintenance, also, fixing bugs, adding to to existing functionality and creating specification documents for new functionality.

The role will also require you to liaise with other departments and colleagues across the company, helping to ensure all staff are up-to-date with new features and functionality.

Software Tester

We are currently looking for a confident software tester, with strong skills and enthusiasm, to join our talented Development team. The role involves:-

  • Testing new development & fixes within the system using a combination of testing scripts and manual testing
  • Logging any bugs found on our internal system
  • Logging Wish List ideas on our internal system
  • Working closely with our Support Team and colleagues in the Development teams
  • Analysing client side data issues and liaising with clients where further investigation is required

The successful candidate will be methodical and analytical in their approach to their work.  You will also be well organised and possess very good organisational skills.

Good written and verbal skills, along with good IT skills and knowledge are essential. Ideally, you will also have an understanding of MS SQL Server and relational databases.Previous experience in a similar role is also preferred.
